About the Role:
Recruit Reliance is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer for our client at Hanscom AFB, MD. This role is ideal for a highly skilled cybersecurity professional with experience in securing DoD systems and networks. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity solutions to support national security missions.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead cybersecurity engineering efforts to protect critical DoD systems.
Implement and manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
Monitor security incidents and lead incident response efforts.
Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards, including NIST 800-53 and DISA STIGs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture.
Support the integration of cybersecurity measures into system designs and architectures.

Qualifications:
✔️ Active TS/SCI clearance (required).
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
✔️ 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering within DoD environments.
✔️ Strong knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs, and ACAS/Tenable tools.
✔️ Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and cloud security.
✔️ CISSP, CISM, CEH, or other cybersecurity certifications (preferred).
